The limited-edition product comprises seven 0.5 gram pre-rolls of Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid strains with a “peachy” flavor. The Bieber cheeba was released today in four states: California, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Florida, with a retail price of USD$50.00.
The 27-year-old stated that he wished to launch his own line of cannabis goods in order to help erase the stigma connected with the substance and assist individuals suffering from mental health issues.
“I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatise it – especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health,” Bieber said in a statement. “I wanted to make sure that I was doing something with them that felt genuine, and Peaches felt like a good place to start.”
In an interview with Vogue, the Canadian singer revealed that a portion of the proceeds will go to Veterans Walk and Talk, a charity that uses cannabis and other psychedelics to help ex-service members, and The Prisoner Project, which advocates for criminal justice reform related to marijuana convictions. “I felt like people attempted to make me feel horrible for loving weed,” Bieber told Vogue. “However, I’ve discovered a place in my life for cannabis products that have shown to be good in my human experience.”
