Despite being dubbed the richest woman in music, much of Rihanna’s wealth has nothing to do with her music career – the singer hasn’t released anything since her last album, Anti, in 2016, and her plans for future releases remain unknown. Forbes has confirmed that approximately $ 1.4 billion of Rihanna’s fortune is invested in the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, which she owns 50% of.
Her remaining fortune is largely attributed to her $ 270 million stake in lingerie company Savage x Fenty.
The success of Rihanna’s lingerie and makeup lines exemplifies the value of inclusivity. Both Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty cater to a diverse range of skin tones and body types that are frequently overlooked. Because of these progressive ideals, both brands – and Rihanna herself – have incredibly devoted fans.
Not all of Rihanna’s projects, however, have been as successful. LVMH announced the closure of Fenty, the singer’s fashion label, in February. The failure to launch the luxury home was due to sloppy management, which failed to differentiate the expensive product from the competition and justify the prices of the clothes in front of Rihanna fans, who were only involved creatively.
